The cost of providing home care and other services is covered in part by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
Patients without insurance may arrange payment on a sliding fee scale. No one is denied service because of inability to pay. The short fall
between the cost of delivering services and the reimbursements from insurance companies and Medicare, as well as expansion and
improvement costs, are met by appeals to the community. We offer the following opportunities for giving:
Annual Appeal
Personal or mail contact during yearly fund drive
Memorial Contributions
Gifts may be made in honor or in memory of family members or friends.
Wills and Bequests
Gifts for specific purposes or general support may be included in individual wills.
Named/Special Gifts
Several areas of the Dr. Clifford B. Harwood Building have been named for honorees. Various named gift opportunities
are available.
Special gifts of $1000, or more will be recognized on a donor plaque.
Contributions are tax deductible to the full extent
allowed by law.
